What do Spammers do?
 Lately I read a news that Facebook welcomed on Monday a US court ruling against a Canadian spammer for sending unwanted messages to users of the popular social network and he is ordered to pay 873 million dollars in damages. Wow! Is this for real? How much millions do spammers get in spamming that it is worth paying 873 millions for such act? How does a spammer makes money? This judgement was the largest claim in the history of spamming persecution and hopefully with this, I won't be seing unwanted emails in my Inbox anymore. Spammers easily steals someone email from various sources online and used that email in The From to Field of the email when sending spam. What happens if you are a victim?  You will get an aweful lots of email bouncebacks if the emails you sent did not reach it's destination. Because you are sending it "as if", undeliverables lands to your inbox by the thousands and guess what you will ask your self, I did not send these emails but why did I get undeliverables? How clever they are and you being a victim, ended up cleaning up for all their mess. You can't realy do anything but manually delete these emails and eventually it will go away. Even if you are subscribed to an email filter and becasue it is not a "spam" but "undeliverables" you will still get it. What shame to these spammers...MAY YOU BE PERSECUTED! |
