Computer RAM
The size of your computer Random Acess Memory or RAM affects the speed of operation of your computer. When you are loading applications for instance the spreedsheet application ( Excel) it consumes lots of megs of RAM in order to work. As it runs, the microprocessor in your computer pulls the exe files from the C Drive and temporary loads it into the RAM. If you want want to run other applications simultaneously, you need a good size of RAM. Other than that, there are some shared files in your computer that should be loaded plus the data file that you are working with and don't forget the Operating System ( Windows XP or MAC) itself.
